On Tuesday (July 15), Shinedown unveiled their new song, “Killing Fields,” the band’s third single released in 2025. The track arrives right before the Jacksonville, Florida alt-rockers launch the second leg of their Dance, Kid, Dance Tour, which is set to kick-off on Saturday night (July 19) at at TD Garden in Boston. Bush and Morgan Wade will serve as opening acts on the 25-date run of U.S. arena shows throughout the summer. Shinedown have yet to officially announce the follow-up to 2022’s Planet Zero, though the trio of recent singles hints that a new album might be on the way soon. The previous two tracks, “Three Six Five” and “Dance, Kid, Dance,” were released back in January, with the commercial success of the latter song making Shinedown the first band in the history of the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart to reach 20 career No. 1 hits.
