The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White stars as Bruce Springsteen in the first official trailer for Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, a music biopic about The Boss directed by Scott Cooper and produced by 20th Century Studios. The film is inspired by Warren Zanes’ book about the making of Springsteen’s beloved 1982 album, Nebraska, and features an ensemble cast including Jeremy Strong, Stephen Graham, Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Marc Maron, and more. Deliver Me From Nowhere is part of a wave of recent award-winning biopics on music legends, following the success of films like A Complete Unknown, Elvis, and Bohemian Rhapsody, with Timothee Chalamet, Rami Malek, and Austin Butler earning acclaim for their portrayals. Springsteen and his longtime manager Jon Landau were directly involved in the film, which is set for a theatrical release on October 24. (Variety)
