On Monday (June 16), New Wave icons the B-52’s and Devo announced that they are set to embark on the co-headlining Cosmic De-Evolution Tour this fall. The 11-date run kicks off on September 24 in Toronto, and concludes on November 2 in Houston, while hitting Mansfield, Massachusetts, Los Angeles, Charlotte, and Austin, Texas along the way, with Lene Lovich serving as the opening act for all dates. “When both of our bands performed at the recent SNL 50 concert at Radio City, we started talking and agreed we had to do these shows,” the B-52’s Cindy Wilson said. “Believe or not, we’ve never done more than a festival or two together in all this time. This will be amazing and I can’t wait for The B-52s to share these stages with Devo!” Tickets for the tour go on sale to the public on Friday (June 20), with pre-sales beginning on Monday (June 16).
