On Tuesday (June 3), Lil Wayne announced that he is marking the 20th anniversary of his iconic Tha Carter series by launching Tha Carter VI North American Tour. The 35-date arena tour kicks off with a high-profile record release show for Tha Carter VI on June 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and finishes on October 2 in West Palm Beach, Florida, with stops in major music markets like Toronto, Minneapolis, Detroit, Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Atlanta along the way. Special guest opening acts for the tour include Tyga, Belly Gang Kushington, and NoCap on select dates. Tha Carter VI includes features from Wayne’s son Kameron, along with Bono, Elephant Man, MGK, and many more. Presale for the tour begins on Wednesday (June 4), leading up to the general on-sale on Friday (June 6) at 10 a.m. local time. (Rolling Stone)
