Lord Huron secures their second No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay chart with “Nothing I Need,” which follows their previous chart-topper, “Not Dead Yet,” in 2021. The band’s latest hit only took seven weeks to reach the top the chart, marking the second-fastest ascent to the summit in 2025, following The Lumineers five week run up to No. 1 with “Same Old Song” back in February. Lord Huron is prepping the highly-anticipated release of their fifth studio album, The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1, on July 18, with “Nothing I Need” serving as the lead single from that project. The band’s last album, Long Lost, debuted at No. 1 on the Americana/Folk Albums chart in June 2021. “Nothing I Need” also jumps up five places to reach a new peak of No. 26 on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, becoming Lord Huron’s second-highest-charting song on the tally, surpassed only by the No. 21-peaking “The Night We Met” in 2017.
