‘The Office’ Offshoot ‘The Paper’ To Premiere In September

Peacock unveiled a sneak peek of The Paper, the new mockumentary series set in The Office universe, during the NBCUniversal upfront presentation. Scheduled for a September premiere (the exact date will be announced later), the show will feature Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Oscar Nuñez. The documentary crew shifts its focus to a historic Midwestern newspaper and its publisher. Nuñez reprises his role as accountant Oscar, while Impacciatore portrays the managing editor and Gleeson plays a new, idealistic employee. The ensemble cast includes Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key. (Variety)
