Stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze will host the 77th annual Emmy Awards, airing live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 14. “It’s a huge honor to be asked to host such an iconic awards show and I’m beyond excited to work with CBS to create a night that can be enjoyed by families around the world,” said Bargatze. This isn’t his first time working with CBS; he previously hosted Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas last year. He’s one of the top stand-up comedians working today. In 2024, he sold over 1.2 million tickets, earning him the title of the highest-earning comedian globally. Nominations for the 2025 Emmy Awards will be revealed on July 15th. (Variety)
