On Thursday (April 3), Modest Mouse announced the details of their inaugural “Ice Cream Floats” rock and roll cruise scheduled to take place from February 5-9, 2026. In addition to three nights of performances by the host band, the cruise will also feature headlining sets by Portugal. The Man, Kurt Vile and the Violators, and Mannequin Pu**y. Sailing round-trip from Miami to Puerto Plata aboard the Norwegian Pearl, the four-night voyage includes performances by FIDLAR, Built to Spill, Tropical F**k Storm, and Ugly Casanova, as well as comedian David Cross. A priority pre-sale for the Ice Cream Party fan community begins on April 14th, with public sales opening on April 22nd. The cruise will also offer unique activities like “Mouse Stardust Theater 3000,” “Ask Modest Mouse Anything,” and “Storytime with Isaac Brock.” Modest Mouse will be prepping for the cruise with a heavy touring schedule in 2025, including co-headlining dates throughout the summer with The Flaming Lips.
