The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse are set to co-headline the upcoming Good Times Are Killing Me Tour this summer, with support coming from special guests Friko and Dehd on select dates. The 20-date joint tour kicks-off on August 1 in Atlanta, hitting a series of cities throughout the US, including major music markets like Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles, before finishing up with a two-night stand in Troutdale, Oregon on September 10-11. General on-sale for the tour begins on March 28, with artist presales starting on March 26. This tour marks a return to sharing the bill for Modest Mouse and the Flaming Lips, who last performed together on the Unlimited Sunshine Tour in 2002. The Flaming Lips will perform last throughout the tour, except for the final two nights in Troutdale, where Modest Mouse will headline since the performances take place near frontman Isaac Brock’s Portland home.
