With just under three months to go until the start of Oasis‘ highly anticipated rock reunion tour on July 4, the band’s outspoken frontman Liam Gallagher took to X on Wednesday (March 5) to joke about who will be featured in the group’s lineup “Here we have it Peppa pig on drums Bert n Ernie on lead guitar n bass finger bobs on keyboard,” Gallagher teased. The singer then revealed that only he and his brother, Noel, are confirmed members of the reunion lineup, writing “obv me n Rkid hope that clears everything up can’t wait to see you all who says RnR is dead.” The Gallagher brothers have a lot of past bandmates to choose from when finalizing their official reunion lineup, which includes former guitarists Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, and Andy Bell, bassist Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan, and drummers Alan White, Tony McCarroll and Zak Starkey. Oasis has over 40 reunion dates scheduled, spanning several continents from July to November, which will mark the band’s first performances together since 2009. (Billboard)
