Christy Carlson Romano is recovering after she was accidentally shot in the face during a clay pigeon shooting outing with her husband on his birthday. “There was another party with us and they unsafely fired in the wrong direction and shot me in the face,” she wrote on Instagram. Despite being hit in five places, she expressed gratitude for being alive and emphasized the importance of cherishing moments with loved ones. “I saw my life flash before my eyes and I’m telling you, hug the people around you every chance you can. Life can change in an instant,” Romano wrote. Her post included images showing her bruised and swollen face, and she mentioned that a fragment was lodged behind her eye, posing a risk for surgical removal at present. Romano, known for her roles in Kim Possible and Even Stevens, is married to writer-producer Brendan Rooney and they have two young daughters. (UPI)
