On Thursday (January 30), Patti Smith shared an Instagram video where she reassured fans that she is in good health after collapsing on stage in Brazil on Wednesday night due to migraine-related dizziness. The incident caused Smith’s Sao Paulo concert to abruptly come to an end. The 78-year-old musician confirmed she was checked by a doctor and is “absolutely fine,” and requested her fans not to make too much of the brief ailment. “With all the strife in the world, this explainable incident does not merit so much attention,” Smith shared. “Thank you everyone for your concern. Trust me I am fine.” Smith was in Brazil as part of a brief, week-long South American tour with frequent collaborators, Soundwalk Collective. (Rolling Stone)
