On Tuesday (January 21), Billy Idol shared a hilarious tour announcement video on Instagram featuring the rock legend appearing alongside comedian Matt Rife, his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens, and his future tourmate Joan Jett. Idol’s 2025 North American run is dubbed, It’s A Nice Day To…Tour Again!, and will feature opening act Joan Jett & the Blackhearts at all shows. The 30-date jaunt is divided into two legs, with the spring tour starting on April 30th in Phoenix, and finishing up on May 23rd in Toronto. The summer leg starts up on August 16th in Philadelphia, and winds down on September 25th in Los Angeles, featuring high-profile shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City on August 20th, and at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on September 3rd. Idol’s Kia Forum show in L.A. is a fundraiser for his adopted hometown, with five dollars from each ticket sold donated to the American Red Cross to support Southern California Wildfire Relief, with Idol himself personally matching the donation.
