On Friday, November 29th, the organizers behind the 2025 Sick New World music festival announced that the event was canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” The one-day music festival was set to take place in Las Vegas on April 12, 2025, and was to feature a stellar lineup of hard rock acts, including headliners Metallica and Linkin Park, along with Queens of the Stone Age, Evanescence, Gojira, AFI, Tomahawk, Ministry, and more. “Despite our best efforts, we’ve encountered unforeseen circumstances that we are unable to overcome for next year’s show,” festival organizers said in a statement. “We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated SNW fans who had made plans to join us for another cultural celebration of hard rock, goth, alternative, and heavy music. Please stay tuned for further and future information regarding Sick New World.” Ticket refunds will be automatically issued within 30 days. (Consequence of Sound)
