KISS bassist Gene Simmons is facing online criticism following his suggestive comments about female dancers while he was serving as a guest judge on Tuesday’s (October 9) episode of Dancing with the Stars. The 75-year-old rock legend made several inappropriate comments about the physical appearance of dancers on the show. “Danny, I’m telling you, you’re right next to one of the more beautiful women on the planet,” Simmons said to the dancing team made up of former NFL player Danny Amendola and his partner Witney Carson. Later, Simmons commented on the routine of Chandler Kinney and her partner Brandon Armstrong, “Chandler, you’ve fogged up my glasses. You move me, not just with your gyrations and so on, but your beautiful face.” Viewers were quick to condemn Simmons, with one user tweeting, “Gene Simmons comments about the ladies are giving the energy of the gross uncle who corners you at the reunion. #DWTS” (People)
