The planned Who’s The Boss? sequel series with original stars Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano has been scrapped by Amazon Freevee. No explanation was provided for the decision, which would have reunited Danza and Milano in their iconic father-daughter roles from the original eight-season ABC series that aired from 1984 to 1992, following the story of Tony as a housekeeper/nanny for a single mom played by Judith Light, alongside her son (played by Danny Pintauro). The new series was set to be written and produced by Mike Royce, co-showrunner of One Day At A Time, with Danza and Milano having maintained a close relationship over the years. (UPI)
