Kesha previously announced her creative independence with the release of her recent single, “Joyride,” back in July. Now, the pop star reinforces her newfound independent streak by announcing the formation of Kesha Records, with plans to release her new album in 2025 on her own record label. Kesha Records global distribution will be handled by ADA, who will also work with Crush Music to handle the marketing and promotion for her forthcoming new album. “I am proud to announce this partnership for the distribution of my music through Kesha Records,” said Kesha in a statement. “Music has the power to connect the world, and I aspire for my work to be a beacon of light and goodness. I am excited to take control of my narrative and rewrite my story in the music business.” (Variety)
