Ryan Murphy has revealed that Charlie Hunnam will portray serial killer Ed Gein in the third installment of the Netflix anthology series, Monster. Production is scheduled to begin soon, following the success of the previous season centered around Jeffrey Dahmer — and the hype around the upcoming season focusing on the Menendez brothers’ case, which will drop all 9 episodes September 19th on Netflix. No further details for the Gein season were disclosed, but Hunnam’s casting follows his recent lead role in Amazon’s Criminal. The actor is best known as the star of the Emmy-nominated FX series Sons Of Anarchy. (THR)
