And it turns out that Weezy himself was personally crushed by being passed over in favor of Kendrick. Lil Wayne took to Instagram Live on Friday (September 13) to express his frustration about not being asked to perform at the upcoming big game in his hometown.. “It hurt a whole lot,” Wayne said. “I thought there was nothing better than that spot and that stage and that platform in my city.
