Collin Gosselin recently alleged that his mother, Kate Gosselin, was physically and verbally abusive towards him during his childhood. “My mother had a room built in our unfinished section of the storage basement. She had a room put up with cameras in it, a tiny window in the corner and it was bolt-locked from the outside,” he told The U.S. Sun. “It was like a containment room, literally, and it had a mattress on the floor and that’s how I lived.” Collin says he was put in the room starting around age 8, claiming Kate “zip-tied my hands and feet together and bolt locked the door, turned the lights off and had cameras there just watching me.” Jon Gosselin, Kate’s ex-husband, confirmed the existence of the room in their former home. Kate has not publicly addressed the allegations, but her lawyer stated that she acted in the best interest of her family. (Us Weekly)
