Wesley Snipes broke two Guinness World Records by unexpectedly reprising his role as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine. His return as the iconic character after 25 years and 340 days secured him the record for the longest career as a live-action Marvel character, surpassing Hugh Jackman. Snipes also set a record for the longest gap between character appearances in Marvel films, returning 19 years and 231 days after his last portrayal in 2004. In the movie, Blade joins forces with Deadpool, Wolverine, and other characters to battle a villain. Released on July 26, the film opened with $205 million and becoming the second-highest-grossing domestic release of the year. (Variety)
