Demi Lovato is making their directorial debut with a documentary for Hulu titled Child Star, which delves into the complexities of growing up in the spotlight. Former child stars like Drew Barrymore, Kenan Thompson, Christina Ricci, Raven-Symoné, JoJo Siwa and Alyson Stoner will appear in the 90-minute doc, set to premiere on September 17th. “I’m so proud to make my directorial debut with this documentary that sheds light on the complexities of child stardom, a topic that is very close to my heart,” Lovato said. “I want to thank our cast for being so vulnerable with their stories and our contributors for sharing their knowledge to help push the conversation forward.
