Inside Out 2 earned a massive $155 million at the weekend box office, surpassing Dune: Part Two and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire to claim the year’s highest opening. This marks the first film to exceed $100 million since Barbie last July. Bad Boys: Ride or Die netted an impressive $33 million in its second weekend for second place, while Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and The Garfield Movie followed in third and fourth place. IF accumulated another $3.4 million to round out the top 5. (Variety)
