Longtime rivals Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi will compete in a hot dog eating contest on Netflix on September 2nd. The event, titled Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef, will feature the 16-time champion Chestnut against the six-time champion Kobayashi. This follows the new that Chestnut was banned from the Nathan’s July 4th contest due to a deal with Impossible Foods. Both competitors expressed excitement for the showdown, with Chestnut acknowledging Kobayashi as his fiercest rival and Kobayashi determined to defeat Chestnut before retiring.
