Disturbed frontman David Draiman was presented with the 2024 joint Jerusalem Post and World Zionist Organization award for outstanding contribution to the fight against antisemitism. Draiman received the prestigious award during a ceremony at the Jerusalem Post Annual Conference, which was held on Monday, June 3 in New York City. “Crazy times we are living in,” Draiman said during his acceptance speech. “Crazy, crazy times. If you had told me ten years ago that I would have lost so many of my colleagues and friends over my position to simply defend my people, our people, the Jewish people, I’d call you crazy.” Draiman posted a photo on Instagram of him accepting the award, with the caption, “Humbled. Grateful.” (Blabbermouth)
