Michael Douglas spoke with The Telegraph about the use of intimacy coordinators on Hollywood film sets. Though the 79-year-old actor, best known for sexy thrillers like Basic Instinct and Fatal Attraction, says he’s “past the age where I’ve got to worry about that” himself, he still doesn’t like the practice. “It feels like executives taking control away from filmmakers — but there have been some terrible faux pas and harassment,” he admitted. “I’m sure there were people that overstepped their boundaries, but before, we seemed to take care of that ourselves.” Douglas can currently be seen portraying Ben Franklin in the limited series Franklin on Apple TV+.
