Barbra Streisand will release her first-ever recording for a TV series, singing “Love Will Survive” for the upcoming show The Tattooist of Auschwitz. Streisand’s rendition, backed by the London Symphony Orchestra, will be released on April 25 ahead of the series premiere on May 2. Streisand’s decision to sing the song was influenced by the current rise of antisemitism, aiming to remember the millions lost during the Holocaust and highlight the enduring power of love in dark times. The series follows the story of Lali, a Jewish tattooist in Auschwitz who falls in love. The show stars Harvey Keitel, Melanie Lynskey, Jonah Hauer-King, Anna Próchniak, and Jonas Nay.
