A former employee of Kanye West has filed a complaint alleging discriminatory and harassing behavior during his time working for West's Yeezy brand and Donda Academy school. In the lawsuit, Trevor Phillips claimed West made concerning statements at Donda Academy, including expressing admiration for Adolf Hitler and proposing the installation of a jail-like cages. Phillips also alleged that West frequently used hateful and discriminatory language in front of students and employees. Phillips cited distress and suffering during his employment and is seeking damages exceeding $35,000. West, who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021, has not yet responded to the allegations.
