The Recording Industry Association Of America has released its “Class Of 2023” list recognizing the top albums, singles, and most notable Gold & Platinum certifications of 2023. Ice Spice had the most titles on the tally with her Gold singles “Munch (Feelin’ U)” and “In Ha Mood,” as well as the PinkPantheress collaboration “Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2” SZA, meanwhile, has the most certifications with 15, including the Top Album with her 3x Platinum blockbuster SOS and the Top Single with her 5x Platinum hit “Kill Bill.” Peso Pluma had the highest album certification for a first-time artist this year with his Platinum record, Génesis. Karol G scored the top Latin album with the 5x Platinum Mañana Será Bonito. Jung Kook of BTS received his first RIAA solo certification for Platinum single “Seven” feat. Latto.
