Matthew Perry‘s longtime friend and Birds of America costar, Lauren Graham, appeared on CBS Mornings Thursday (November 16th) and spoke about the last year of his life. The Friends actor died unexpectedly last month at the age of 54.
Reflecting on their friendship, the Gilmore Girls actor told the show’s cohosts, “No one made me laugh as hard … I mean, just tears streaming. There was just such joy in being around him and being his friend.”
She also shared that Perry was “so proud” of his 2022 memoir titled Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing. She said the book’s success “gave him a level of happiness I hadn't seen in him in a really long time, so that's a nice memory.”
