Just out today (Friday, September 1st) is Peter Frampton at Royal Albert Hall, a nine-song set drawn from his concert at the prestigious London venue last November 8th. The show was part of the short European leg of Frampton's Finale: The Farewell Tour and found him sitting down on stage due to his battle with Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM), a degenerative syndrome that has atrophied his muscles. Despite that, Frampton tells us that his performances were well-received: “I did the European tour and even though it was the first time sitting down, the audience was incredible. I mean, the shows were incredible. Everyone played great. I played great.” :18 (OC: I played great)
Like 1976's famed “Frampton Comes Alive,” “…At Royal Albert Hall” opens with “Something's Happening” and features favorites such as “Show Me the Way,” “All I Wanna Be (Is By Your Side),” “Baby I Love Your Way” and “Do You Feel Like We Do?,” as well as a rendition of Hoagy Carmichael's “Georgia On My Mind.”
