Travis Scott brought Kanye West out onstage for a surprise appearance at his Circus Maximus concert in Rome on Monday. It was West’s first live performance since his career was destroyed by a long period of public antisemitic remarks, which began last October. Scott welcomed his mentor to the stage to rap “Praise God” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” from his new album, Utopia. “There is no ‘Utopia’ without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West,” Scott said. “There is no Rome without Kanye West. Make some noise for Ye.” West’s last live performance occured in February of 2022 in Miami during a launch event for his Donda 2 album. He didn't make an appearance on Utopia.
