Only days away from launching his spring All Starr Band tour — Ringo Starr has just rolled out the dates and cities for the band's fall run. As it stands now, Ringo and the band will kick off their 19-date fall tour on September 17th in Ontario, California at Toyota Arena and play through October 13th at Thackerville, Oklahoma's Winstar Casino.
Ringo hits the road on May 19th playing Temecula, California's Pechanga Resort Casino. The latest All Starr Band lineup features such veteran All Starrs as Toto's Steve Lukather, Men At Work's Colin Hay, Edgar Winter, Paul McCartney sideman Hamish Stuart from the Average White Band — along with percussionist Warren Ham and drummer Gregg Bissonette.
Ringo Starr, who turns 83 this July, told us that he and his peers feel lucky to still have an audience to play to: “Well, we're blessed we're still alive, and we're blessed that people would like to come and see us, you know? And it's a privilege to be able to do what for me was a dream at 13, and I'm still doing it.”
