Alice Cooper has just rolled out the dates for his "Too Close For Comfort" tour. The shows, which will primarily hit the South and Midwest in April and May, pre-date his summer stadium run opening for Def Leppard and Motley Crue.
Blabbermouth reported, "Pre-sale tickets and VIP packages will be available next Tuesday, January 17th (use code "SICKTHINGS"). Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday, January 20th at 10 a.m. local time."
Alice Cooper told us that he honestly never sees a day coming when he'll retire — or even offer up a scaled back version of his concerts: ["I love the stage show, and I'm always gonna do the stage show. There's never a time when I'm gonna back off from the stage show. I think I can do what I do with good conscience and still do my stage show and stay within my own boundaries, and everybody's gonna walk away going, 'That was the best show I've ever seen.' And still compete with Marilyn Manson, and still compete with Slipknot, and Mudvayne, and all these bands. I just don't go for the cheap shot — I wanna go for the clever shot."] SOUNDCUE (:22 OC: . . . the clever shot)
