Today (Tuesday, June 21st) is the one-year anniversary of Korn's Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu decision to temporarily leave the band after he revealed he had reverted to some of his “bad habits” and that he was going “to take some time off to heal.” Korn's Brian' “Head” Welch recently told Kerrang! Radio that he intends to catch up with Fieldy saying, “We’ve been in contact with him. I just e-mailed him the other day. So we’re gonna get together and talk to him, see how he’s doing, see where his head is at, after this tour . . . We love him, we’ve been in communication with him, and we’ll see.”
The band hopes to find out if and when Fieldy is ready to return to Korn at the close of their current tour of Europe and the UK.
In the meantime, Suicidal Tendencies bassist Ra Diaz has been filling in for him.
