Slipknot's Corey Taylor brought the band's set to a halt while performing in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada on Monday (April 11th) after he noticed a fan who had been injured in the pit and he alerted medical personnel. Fan videos show Taylor instructing the crowd to “back up” and “give them room,” adding, “They can't breathe if everybody's around them.”
Loudwire.com reports that the band were performing the 14th song of the set, the Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses cut “Vermillion,” when the incident happened.
After the concertgoer was attended to, Taylor said, “Make some noise for the medics. Let's make sure they get out. We've got a clear path right here. As soon as they're safe, we're starting this f**king thing again . . . “
