In addition to music, Asking Alexandria co-founder Ben Bruce has a passion for cooking and says he's like to turn that into a side gig. He recently appeared on “Side Jams With Bryan Reesman” where he said he has always dreamed of having a food truck with the name of the business being Sex, Drugs And Sausage Rolls.
Bruce explained, “I feel like I've just had this idea in my head forever, which, once I tell you the name of it, you'll realize very quickly why it can't happen. Because I'll be getting all kinds of the wrong people queuing up for it. But I would love to have a food truck just with a British flag painted on the side. (We have) something in England — a fast food, quick snack called a sausage roll. And basically, it's just a puff pastry wrapped around sausage meat. So me having the background I have in music, I would love to have a food truck with the British flag paint on the side, and I want it to be called Sex, Drugs And Sausage Rolls. We'll sell all kinds of pastry snacks and stuff. My wife was just like, 'Yeah, you know who's going to be queuing up outside your food truck at two o'clock in the morning when they're drunk coming from the pub.' And I won't have sex or drugs. I'll just have the sausage rolls. And I don't think it will be as quite as successful.”
Earlier this year, Asking Alexandria released a new EP called Never Gonna Learn.
