After two long years being off the road due to the pandemic and hip surgery — and only days after relaunching his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour — Elton John has been sidelined by Covid. The "Rocket Man" was forced to postpone his two Dallas shows set for Tuesday and Wednesday — January 25th and 26th — at the American Airlines Center.
A statement posted on the venue's official website reads: "It is with great regret that the 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' tour dates in Dallas set for Tuesday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 26 must be postponed due to Elton recently testing positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, Elton is fully vaccinated and boosted, and is experiencing only mild symptoms."
