Lady Gaga Had To Consult With A Psychiatric Nurse Because Of House Of Gucci Role

Lady Gaga took measures to protect her mental health while filming House of Gucci. She says darkness of the character she was playing, would stay with her, even when off set.

She said: “I don't think that any actor should push themselves to that limit. And I ask myself all the time why I do that.”

Towards the end of filming, she had a psychiatric nurse with her and felt that was the safe thing to do for her mental health.

For nine months she spoke with an accent on and off camera and says that dying her hair blonde when the movie was finished, helped her break out of character.

She said, “I was the same way for A Star Is Born; I was always Ally. And for this, I was always Patrizia. I always spoke in my accent.”

Her character, Patrizia Reggiani, was infamous for plotting the assassination of her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci.
