As of Tuesday (November 9th), over 30 lawsuits have been filed against Travis Scott and Astroworld organizers following the festival tragedy. Among the lawsuits filed yesterday was on behalf of the father of Ezra Blount, a nine year old who — according to a press release from Ben Crump Law, was “trampled and catastrophically injured at the Astroworld Festival.”
E.B., who suffered brain, liver and kidney trauma, “is currently hospitalized in a medically induced coma on life support.” He was “kicked, stepped on and trampled” as people around him were lifting up “unconscious bodies of friends and strangers and surfed them over the top of the crowd, hoping to send them to safety.”
Ezra and his father are seeking general damages, as well as exemplary damages.
