Lorde opened up in an interview with Variety magazine about her shyness and says navigating the industry is hard for her.
She describes herself as “very, very shy and because of that, “being bold is vital.” She says people are only going to listen to you if you speak up.
In giving advice to other young women she says that you always regret not being bold, and you very rarely regret toughening up and doing it.
