A writer for Rolling Stone claims that she helped Britney Spears on a secret mission find a new attorney in the beginning of her conservatorship.
Jenny Eliscu revealed in the Netflix documentary Britney vs Spears that she had a clandestine meeting with Spears at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills at Sam Lufti’s behest in 2009. The pair snuck into a bathroom stall so that the “Toxic” singer could sign a petition saying she had a “lack of confidence” in her court-appointed attorney Sam Ingham.
Eliscu teared up as she recalled the incident, saying, “I showed her the spots where she needed to sign, and she signed. She just sort of looked at me and said, ‘Thank you.’ And I said, ‘I’ll see you again. Go!’ She definitely seemed scared. It was hard to tell ’cause I was so scared, but she was appreciative.”
