Foo Fighters have announced the band's first Alaskan dates. Blabbermouth reported the band will hit Anchorage for a pair of shows set for August 17th and 19th at the Dena'ina Center, as well as August 21st at Fairbanks' Carlson Center.
As we previously reported, the Foos were forced to postpone Saturday night's (July 17th) L.A. Forum reopening show after a member of the band's extended team tested positive for Covid. A new makeup date for the show is expected to be announced soon.
Dave Grohl told us a while back that it's vital for the band to change up the live show from night to night: “You've got to change it up. To keep things interesting musically, like, that's our lifeline, y'know, and to experiment and do things we've never done before. So we go out every night and we play all the loud, old rock stuff, we play all the loud new rock stuff, we play acoustic stuff, newer acoustic stuff, we just kind of change it up a little bit.”
