Halestorm's Joe Hottinger and Lzzy Hale are encouraging others to join them in trying to save legendary Nashville live music venue the Exit / In, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Loudwire reports the property is under contract to a firm that is purchasing independent venues and the club's owners are requesting that the firm sell them the property so the club can carry on.
In a post to Instagram yesterday (Wednesday, April 7th), Hottinger talked about his and Hale's experiences over the years at the Exit / In. He wrote, in part, “When Lzzy and I moved to town the first show in our first week here was at the Exit/In. She got up onstage and sang with our friends in Adrenaline Mob . . . I’m sharing some memories because instead of turning this legendary venue into another hotel, let’s try and keep it around a bit longer. Follow the link in my bio and let’s SAVE THE EXIT/IN damnit.” That link is to the GoFundMe account for the Exit / In.
