Mick Jagger has donated an autographed Fender Stratocaster guitar for a COVID-19 relief auction in support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). According to Anba.co.br, the guitar which is now valued at over $960,000, was donated by his son, Lucas Jagger and his mother — former Jagger flame, actress Luciana Gimenez.
Irma Alves, the Brazilian director at Fashion Inclusive Brazil, explained, “Mick Jagger only donates guitars for huge catastrophe relief auctions, and this is the COVID-19 guitar. . .We made an online auction, but the situation here (in Portugal) is a long way off, Portugal is in crisis, and the guitar has not been sold yet.”
According to the report, the last signed instrument Jagger donated was sold for $484,000 in Monaco.
