Selena Gomez takes viewers behind the scenes of her music video for “De Una Vez” in the latest installment of Vevo Footnotes.
In the video, the singer revealed that her Spanish-language album came about suddenly. She said, “De Una Vez’ was one of the first songs I worked on pretty early on. At the time, doing a Spanish project was just an idea being bounced around. Then the rest of the project just kind of happened really quickly and organically.”
She added, “Tainy (who I Love) and his entire creative team at NEON16 (Jota Rosa, Albert Hype, etc.) produced the track…As For the process – we actually recorded almost the entire EP on Zoom due to COVID.”
The video served as an opportunity for Gomez to showcase her new song as well as her new beauty line. She said, “My Rare Beauty makeup line had just launched, and it was so fun creating the look for the video with my own makeup — a surreal, proud moment for me.”
