Beyoncé is stepping up to donate $500,000 in increments of $5,000 grants to help people facing foreclosures or evictions due to the housing crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
According to her website, people can start applying for the grants beginning on January 7. 100 people will be selected to receive the money.
This is not Beyoncé's first effort to help communities hurt by the pandemic. Her foundation, BeyGOOD teamed with the NAACP earlier this year to support Black-owned small businesses impacted by the pandemic. So far providing 250 businesses with $10,000 grants.
