Foo Fighters performed an acoustic set at an empty Troubadour in Los Angeles this past weekened. The performance was part of the Save Our Stages Festival, a three day virtual event in support of independent music venues at risk of closing their doors permanently.
According to Rolling Stone, the performance featured “Skin and Bones,” “My Hero,” “These Days,” “Times Like These” and “Everlong,” which Grohl performed solo.
During the performance, Grohl said, “Each of us have had pretty amazing experiences at this club, but there are lots of smaller venues like this around the world that need your support right now." He continued, “ . . . it’s crucial that we do everything we can to make sure these venues survive in order to be there to inspire the next generation of musicians to go on and do beautiful things with their lives.”
