Demi Lovato’s new single, “Commander in Chief,” is a clear vision of her political stance. And in an interview with CNN she talked about the pitfalls of expressing political views, she said, “You're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't.”
She went on to explain and used Taylor Swift as an example and said, “For years she got trashed because she wasn't taking a stance and wasn't standing up for these rights, and she kind of took a back seat. And now she's become very political and there are people that are unhappy with that, too.”
Lovato performed her new single on this week’s BMA’s.
