The state elections office has confirmed that Kanye West has qualified to appear on the 2020 Utah ballot in November. According to The New York Post, state elections direction Justin Lee said that his office had verified that West had collected 1,000 signatures needed to appear on the ballot.
Utah marks the fifth state in which West has qualified to be on the ballot. He has gained ballot access in Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Vermont.
West will appear as an unaffiliated candidate.
